The final unveiling of the Triennale 2020 took place on 20 February with the opening of the From the Vault exhibition. Comparing the collections of the Universities of Stellenbosch and Fort Hare, the exhibition features some rarely seen works and sure to attract wide interest. Artists and patrons gathered at the US Museum, which was hosted by Strauss & Co.

This historic exhibition contains works from many of the greatest masters in South African art and it’s free to the public. Bringing the magnificent University of Fort Hare Art Collection to the Stellenbosch Triennale was only possible because of two very special partners – Marsh Insurance and iToo Art Insure. We are so grateful for their support and belief in how important it was for this exhibition to take place.
