The Stellenbosch Triennale kicked off with a Private Preview of the Curators’ Exhibition on Sunday 9 November 2020 hosted by Stonehage Fleming.

Gathering in The Woodmill, artists and guests converged to celebrate the official launch of the Triennale’s flagship exhibition. Some of the highlights include Ibrahim Mahama’s 10mx 6m long coffins, built on-site using reclaimed wood, the 404 overall installation by Zyma Amien that speaks to rising job losses in the manufacturing industry and the cylindrical outdoor structure by Euridice Kala was built using mostly found materials on site.

This exciting exhibition features exceptional pieces from across Africa and is open to the public until 30 April 2020.
