The Stellenbosch Triennale 2020 is a contemporary art exhibition featuring the finest art from Africa. Personally guided walks through the different exhibitions are hosted on Tuesdays and Fridays, and offer a unique opportunity to experience the insights first-hand.
10h00: Tours start at “From the Vault” exhibition at the US museum on Ryneveld Street where works from the collections of Stellenbosch & Fort Hare Universities are exhibited. Parking available behind Eikestad Mall between Andringa and Ryneveld Streets.
11h00: Voorgelegen host “Concepts of Freedom” film installations. Parking available at Stelkor Medicross (address hyperlinked) parking on the corner of Piet Retief and Dorp Streets (enter via Louw Street – Noordwal Wes along the Eerste River)
12h00: “On the CUSP” exhibition next at Distell on lower Dorp Street opposite DeluXe coffee. Parking is available into Aan de Wagenweg, drive over the bridge to park left along the sports fields.
12h45: “Curators’ Exhibition” at Woodmill Lifestyle Centre Vredenburg Road Devon Valley off R310 Parking available at the venue. (Turn right into Vredenburg Road off R310 follow the green signs into Woodmill lifestyle centre and keep left past the buildings and park at the back of this industrial site).
The guided walks of the major exhibitions are hosted weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays from 09h00-12h00.
