As the sun dips below the Stellenbosch hills, casting a golden glow over Oude Libertas, we invite you to experience the Stellenbosch Triennale 2025 through a curated sunset walk - one that breathes life into On the Cusp, In the Current, and The Bioscope.
With each step, you’ll journey through time: from artists pushing the threshold of their creative potential in On the Cusp, to the established voices of In the Current, whose works pulse with experience and mastery. As the light fades, the moving images of The Bioscope take centre stage, echoing memories, mythologies, and contemporary realities.
Under the evening sky, we step into a Rehearsal for Breathing - an exhibition space not as a static display, but as a living entity. We invite you to pause, to witness, to inhale. How have we sustained ourselves through interruptions?…
