Step into the immersive world of ST25 Bioscope and Embodied Interventions, where film, movement, and sound converge in a space of ritual, resistance, and storytelling. This programme is a powerful exploration of breath, memory, and improvisation, spanning cinematic works and site-responsive performances that echo the Triennale’s theme: BA’ZINZILE: A Rehearsal for Breathing.


Bioscope reimagines the traditional film screening experience as a portal into visual archives, speculative futures, and embodied histories. Featuring works by filmmakers such as Sara Hatira, Ixchel Xōchitlzihuatl, Campbell X, and Gladys Kalichini, the selection is a cinematic meditation on identity, land, displacement, and transformation. Each frame, each movement, each breath captured on screen reflects the insistence to exist, to remember, and to dream beyond imposed borders.
